We are working in challenging times.  Verbal or physical aggression towards any of our staff will not be tolerated.

In an effort to minimise the spread of Covid 19, we cannot allow patients into the surgery with any respiratory symptoms, such as fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough.

All patients are triaged when booking appointments over the phone to assess whether they can attend for a “face to face” appointment or if they require a telehealth appointment.

We offer telephone and video consultations for those patients who cannot attend the surgery with respiratory symptoms. These appointments are not bulk billed.  Please refer to our list off fees for more details.

We urge patients with any respiratory symptoms to visit a drive through covid clinic for a PCR swab to exclude Covid 19, Influenza and RSV.  Results are generally available within 24 hours.  Once you obtain a negative result, you can have an appointment in the surgery after notifying staff of your result.

For those patients who are symptomatic and  have consulted a GP via telehealth but need to be examined at the surgery, arrangements will be  made by our staff to facilitate an appointment via a car consult.

Please note:  Medicare restrictions mean that only those patients that have been seen “face to face” in the past 12 months are eligible for a medicare rebate.
